Tekken has over the years garnered a reputation as being arguably the most popular 3D Fighting Game Franchise of All-Time. Other series like Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat may have greater legacies in the genre and in pop culture as a whole, but Tekken has garnered a reputation as being the signature fighting game franchise of the PlayStation family due in part to its technical and complex gameplay, in-depth and long-running storylines, and more than anything else, the iconic music that easily ranks among fighting game fans as the best music in the genre. And today we’re going to be looking at some of the greatest Tekken themes from the three-decade history of this iconic franchise. These are themes that not only have that iconic sound and wow factor synonymous with the Tekken franchise but are among the most recognizable themes to both casual and hardcore fans alike and have stood the test of time in the lore of the Tekken fandom. These are the 30 Greatest Tekken Themes of

So, with the release of Tekken 8 comes the major development that Bandai Namco is releasing all of their Tekken Musical Library to stream through their new music label: Bandai Namco Game Music/TEKKEN Project. All of this got me to thinking about some of my favorite Tekken Themes and which themes I though over the years were… “the best”. Now, let’s make one thing perfectly clear right away…this is NOT a list of the themes that I think are the BEST Tekken themes (that’s a list for another day.) This is a list of my personal choices of the themes, going from the first Tekken Game, all the way to the most recent Tekken game, that are my FAVORITE Tekken themes from each game, so that means only one theme per game will be selected. Also, this list is only restricted to the mainline games in the series and the Tag Tournament games. So, no crossovers like Street Fighter X Tekken or Pokken Tournament will be included, and I also will not be including any themes from Tekken Revolution on this

Twilight of the Thunder God by Amon Amarth Genre: Melodic Death Metal Song Info: The title track to Amon Amarth's seventh studio album tells the story of the mythical battle between Thor, the god of thunder, and Jörmungandr, the Midgard serpent. Fun Fact: The guitar solo at the end of the song is actually performed by Children of Bodom guitarist Roope Latvala. Lyrics: [Intro] Yeah [Verse 1] There comes Fenris' twin, his jaws are open wide The serpent rises from the waves Jormungandr twists and turns, mighty in his wrath The eyes are full of primal hate [Chorus] Thor! Odin's son, protector of mankind Ride to meet your fate, your destiny awaits Thor! Hlödyn's son, protector of mankind Ride to meet your fate, Ragnarök awaits [Verse 2] Vingtor rise to face the snake with hammer high At the edge of the world Bolts of lightning fills the air as Mjölnir does its work The dreadful serpent roars in pain [Chorus] Thor! Odin's son, protector of mankind Ride to meet your fate, your

Yo Darkchild,

Are you familiar with NamcoxCapcom or Project X Zone?

Cause those games are how I would picture a video game with Naruto and all his girls.

Hey man, sorry I'm late on this, but I unfortunately am not. I'll have to look more into it tomorrow.

No problem, take your time

Hey buddy,

You know I've been thinking for awhile...with Rooster Teeth closing down and with so many fans being dissatisfied and dismayed with the creative direction of RWBY since the end of Volume 3...what do you say we take our RPs and finish the story and do it our way here on DA with our Naruto/RWBY Maelstrom Chronicles series. You game?!

Just a thought that occurred to me after playing Tekken 8.

Could Reina (Tekken) also join Naruto’s harem?

Hey BTW, now that we're on the subject of Tekken, with Bandai Namco Game Music being launched as its own music label for Tekken Music and them dropping all of the themes from the Tekken games I'd like to know which Tekken theme you think matches up well with Asuka Kazama and Steve Fox from the Tekken series.

For Asuka = A.U.N. 2nd from Tekken 7, I like how it has the Japanese Shamisen but has a fiery beat, which fits Asuka as the hit blooded Japanese young woman that she is.

Steve Fox = Neo City (Normal) from Tekken 8, I like how it starts with a party vibe before going into a nonstop beat like a boxer/wrestling entrance before the match starts and afterwards it sounds melancholic like Steve reminisces of the fact he’s the biological son of a famed assassin and that he was the product of the Mishima Zaibatsu’s experiments.
